Welcome and thank you for visiting our web site. Our prayer is for you "to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God" (Ephesians 3:19). The East Bristol congregation is an independent, autonomous, non-denominational body of people who seek only to do what is found in the Word of God. Paul wrote: "And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him" (Colossians 3:17). This divine mandate means that we must have authority from Christ for everything that we do. This authority is revealed to us in the pages of the New Testament. Peter wrote, "...as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue" (2 Peter 1:3). The Bible is the inspired, inerrant, perfect Word of God, with nothing more needed for our understanding of salvation, worship, and daily life. We seek to follow only the pattern given to us in the New Testament when it comes to our teaching, organization, work and worship (2 Timothy 3:16-17).
